Movimiento Reciprocante
Los sistemas reciprocantes alternan entre una carrera de corte antihoraria más amplia y una carrera de liberación horaria más pequeña. Este movimiento asimétrico reduce el estrés torsional en la lima, disminuyendo el riesgo de separación en comparación con la rotación continua. Los sistemas reciprocantes de lima única simplifican el flujo de trabajo a uno o dos instrumentos por caso, reduciendo el riesgo de contaminación cruzada y el tiempo del procedimiento. Esta técnica es particularmente valiosa en conductos severamente curvos, donde la resistencia a la fatiga cíclica es especialmente importante.
