# Fire-Wire

## Definition

A heat-treated NiTi alloy proprietary to EdgeEndo, used in EdgeFile X7 and EdgeOne Fire instruments. It provides enhanced flexibility and cyclic fatigue resistance through an annealing process that produces a predominantly martensitic alloy at body temperature.
