# FKG Dentaire Systems

iRaCe offers a simplified 3-file sequence; BioRaCe provides the Debellian & Trope biological approach with a 10-file range. XP-endo Shaper targets 3D contact through adaptive expansion; XP-endo Finisher completes with 3D cleaning. R-Motion offers reciprocating shaping with blue heat-treated NiTi.

## System Comparisons

BioRaCe vs RACE EVO

Same manufacturer, two generations. BioRaCe is conventional electropolished NiTi in a six-file basic set (plus Extended Set) at 600 RPM / 1.0 Ncm, reusable within limits; RACE EVO is blue heat-treated, single-use, and shapes with three files at 800–1000 RPM / 1.5 Ncm, with the manufacturer reporting up to 2.8x the cyclic-fatigue resistance of RaCe. Choose RACE EVO for a short heat-treated sequence, BioRaCe for the fuller biological crown-down range.

iRaCe vs RACE EVO

iRaCe is the conventional electropolished three-file sequence (R1 15/.06, R2 25/.04, R3 30/.04) at 600 RPM / 1.5 Ncm with the iRaCe Plus extension for difficult canals; RACE EVO is its blue heat-treated successor (15/.04, 25/.04, 30/.04) at 800–1000 RPM / 1.5 Ncm, single-use, with up to 2.8x the cyclic-fatigue resistance of RaCe per the manufacturer. Choose RACE EVO for curved canals, iRaCe if you rely on the Plus files for narrow calcified anatomy.

iRaCe vs iRaCe Plus

iRaCe Plus is an extension of iRaCe, not a replacement. When the standard R1 (15/.06) cannot reach working length in narrow, calcified or severely curved canals, the Plus files R1a (20/.02) and R1b (25/.02) take over at the same 600 RPM / 1.5 Ncm, and the sequence then continues with the standard R2 and R3. Keep both on hand and switch per the IFU rather than forcing R1.

XP-endo Finisher vs XP-endo Shaper

Companions, not alternatives. XP-endo Shaper shapes: it enters as a 30/.01 and expands to at least a .04 taper at body temperature. XP-endo Finisher cleans: a zero-taper sickle-shaped instrument used after any shaping system once the canal reaches at least ISO 25, reaching walls that shaping files leave untouched. Both run at 800–1000 RPM / 1.0 Ncm; the Finisher R variant serves retreatment.
