## Protocol

### Glide Path

1. **Glide Path and Coronal Pre-Flaring** — Prepare the glide path first, then fill the canals and pulp chamber with irrigant. Use BR0 (25/.08) with only 4 gentle strokes, clean the flutes. Repeat until approximately 4-6 mm of the coronal canal is prepared. After BR0, irrigate and recapitulate to full working length with a #15 manual file (per IFU). _(File: BR0 · 600 RPM · 1.0 Ncm)_
   - BR0 has a partially active tip (unlike other BioRaCe files which have non-cutting tips) (per brochure)

### Shaping

1. **Sequential Shaping: BR1 through BR3** — Use BR1 (15/.05) with 4 gentle strokes. If BR1 does not reach working length, clean the instrument and repeat until working length is achieved. Use BR2 (25/.04) and BR3 (25/.06) in the same manner. Do NOT use BR3 to full WL on canals with severe apical curvatures — switch to the Extended Set protocol (per IFU). _(600 RPM · 1.0 Ncm)_
   - Max 3-4 back-and-forth gentle strokes per pass; light touch, let the instrument work (per IFU golden rules)
   - Work 3-4 seconds at a time, then withdraw, clean the blade, and irrigate (per IFU golden rules)
   - Copious irrigation between each instrument change (per IFU)
   - ⚠ Do NOT use BR3 (25/.06) to full WL on canals with severe apical curvatures (per IFU)
   - ⚠ If BR3 cannot reach WL safely, switch to Extended Set (BR4C + BR5C) for the apical portion (per IFU)

### Finishing

1. **Final Apical Preparation: BR4 and BR5** — Use BR4 (35/.04) and BR5 (40/.04) as described for BR1-BR3. In most cases, the final apical preparation is then achieved. For larger canals, use BR6 (50/.04) and BR7 (60/.04) from the Extended Set. For severe curvatures, BR4C (35/.02) and BR5C (40/.02) provide safer apical preparation (per IFU). _(600 RPM · 1.0 Ncm)_
