## Protocol

### Glide Path

1. **Negotiate Canal** — Using stainless steel files, negotiate all root canals to their terminus. Establish a glide path by inserting a #10 K-File to the working length.
   - Use lubricant during initial negotiation

   - Determine working length with apex locator and radiograph
2. **Confirm Glide Path** — Use a #15 K-File at the working length to ensure an appropriate glide path has been established before introducing rotary files.

   - Use gentle pecking motion - do not force apically

   - Always withdraw, irrigate, and recapitulate before switching files
