## Protocol

### Glide Path

1. **Establish Glide Path** — Scout canal with #10 and #15 hand files using watch-winding motion. Confirm smooth, reproducible glide path to at least ISO 015.
   - Pre-curve file for curved canals
   - Use chelator (EDTA gel) for lubrication
   - Glide path must be confirmed before rotary use
   - ⚠ Minimum ISO 015 glide path required
   - ⚠ Never force file apically
2. **Path File (Optional)** — Use EndoArt Path File (16/02) to create reproducible glide path to working length. Specifically designed for blocked and narrow canals. _(File: Path File (16/02) · 300 RPM · 1.0 Ncm)_
   - Passive tip design prevents ledging and perforation
   - Use after #10 hand file reaches canal
   - Recapitulate with hand file after

### Shaping

1. **Initial Shaping - S1** — Use S1 with brushing action on outstroke to improve straight-line access. Continue until depth of #15 hand file is reached. _(File: S1 · 300 RPM · 2.0 Ncm (Gold) / 1.5 Ncm (Blue) · Brushing on withdrawal stroke)_
   - Always brush away from furcation
   - Let file do the work - minimal apical pressure
   - Clean flutes frequently
   - ⚠ Do not force to WL if resistance felt
2. **Progressive Shaping - S2** — Use S2 exactly as S1, with brushing action, until depth of #15 hand file is reached. _(File: S2 · 300 RPM · 2.2 Ncm (Gold) / 1.5 Ncm (Blue) · Brushing on withdrawal stroke)_
   - Irrigate between files
   - Scout apical 1/3 with hand files
   - Establish working length and confirm patency
3. **Coronal Shaping - SX (If Needed)** — Use SX with brushing motion to move coronal aspect away from furcal concavities. Also optimal for shorter roots. _(File: SX · 300 RPM · 3.5 Ncm (Gold & Blue) · Brushing stroke away from furcation)_
   - Use to relocate canal orifice
   - Can be used at any point in sequence
4. **Shape to Working Length** — Use S1 with brushing action to WL, then S2 with brushing action to WL. Reconfirm WL, irrigate, recapitulate. _(File: S1 then S2 · 300 RPM · 2.0-2.2 Ncm (Gold) / 1.5 Ncm (Blue) · Brushing action to WL)_
   - Especially important in curved canals
   - Irrigate, recapitulate, re-irrigate after each file

### Finishing

1. **Apical Finishing - F1** — Use F1 in non-brushing action, each insertion deeper than previous, until WL reached. Gauge foramen with #20 hand file. _(File: F1 · 300 RPM · 2.5 Ncm (Gold & Blue) · Non-brushing, progressive insertion)_
   - If #20 is snug at WL, canal is ready for obturation
   - If #20 is loose at WL, proceed to F2
   - ⚠ Do not leave file at WL longer than 1 second
2. **Apical Finishing - F2** — Use F2 with same non-brushing motion to WL. Gauge with #25 hand file. _(File: F2 · 300 RPM · 2.5 Ncm (Gold & Blue) · Non-brushing to WL)_
   - Standard finishing size for most canals
   - Verify tug-back with master cone
   - ⚠ Do not leave file at WL longer than 1 second
3. **Apical Finishing - F3 (If Needed)** — Continue with F3 if previous file loose at WL. Gauge with #30 hand file. _(File: F3 · 300 RPM · 2.5 Ncm (Gold & Blue) · Non-brushing to WL)_
   - Same technique as F1 and F2
   - Gauge with corresponding hand file after
   - ⚠ Do not leave file at WL longer than 1 second
   - ⚠ Only use if previous file is loose at WL

## Clinical Tips

- Gold wire: x2 cyclic fatigue resistance vs conventional NiTi (per manufacturer product page)
- Blue wire: x4 cyclic fatigue resistance vs conventional NiTi, allows pre-bending thanks to control memory (per manufacturer product page)
- Blue files can be pre-bent before canal entry due to controlled memory
- Speed: 300 RPM for all files. Torque differs by wire and file: Gold SX=3.5, S1=2.0, S2=2.2, F1-F3=2.5; Blue SX=3.5, S1-S2=1.5, F1-F3=2.5 Ncm
- Laser-marked length indicators and tip/taper info on handle
- Files may appear slightly curved after heat treatment - this is normal
- Autoclavable for reuse (inspect before each use)

## Warnings

- Contains nickel - do not use on patients with nickel allergy
- Do not immerse in sodium hypochlorite solution
- Inspect for distortion, uneven flutes, dull spots before use
- Discard if any unwinding or deformation observed
- Multiple reprocessing cycles increase separation risk
- Do not use in severe/sudden apical curvatures - risk of separation

## Contraindications

- severe apical curvatures
- nickel allergy

## Best for

- variable taper shaping
- cost-effective alternative
- Turkish market
