### Glide Path

1. **Prerequisites** — XP-endo Finisher is used AFTER canal shaping is complete. The canal must be prepared to at least ISO 25 before using the Finisher (per IFU). In multirooted teeth, begin with the largest canal.

### Shaping

1. **File Preparation and Insertion** — Remove the XP-endo Finisher from its sterile blister pack. Cool the file inside its tube using cold spray. Briefly turn on rotation and remove the file from the tube with a lateral movement to keep it straight, then turn off rotation. Insert the straight file into the canal; once the tip is inside, turn on rotation and advance to working length. Add irrigant to the access cavity after insertion (per IFU). _(800-1000 RPM · 1.0 Ncm)_
   - The file is straight at room temperature (M-phase) and expands to its sickle shape at body temperature (A-phase) (per brochure)
   - Cool the file with cold spray before removal from the tube to maintain straightness (per IFU)
   - Touch the tube surface only at its FKG-logo end to avoid warming the file (per IFU)
   - For multirooted teeth, direct the tip toward the mesial aspect for MB/ML/DB canals, palatal for palatal canals (per IFU)

### Finishing

1. **1-Minute Cleaning Protocol** — Use the XP-endo Finisher for approximately 1 minute (~60 strokes), using slow and gentle 7-8 mm longitudinal movements along the full canal length. Make small multidirectional movements to contact all canal walls. Avoid removing the file from the canal during the 1-minute cleaning phase. After 1 minute, remove the file while still in rotation.
