# Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms cover use of the free EndoGuide website and app. Nothing on the Service is sold and nothing is charged.

[Intended Purpose and Limitations](https://endo-guide.app/intended-use)

## §1Scope, and what this service is

These Terms govern your use of EndoGuide — the website at endo-guide.app and the EndoGuide iOS application (together, the "Service") — operated by Uzm. Dt. Levent Yüksel, whose full contact and publisher details are on the legal notice page.

EndoGuide is an educational and reference product for licensed dental professionals and dental students. Its intended purpose, its intended users and its limitations are set out in full on the Intended Purpose and Limitations page, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before using the Service.

EndoGuide is not a medical device, is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of any individual patient, does not control or interface with any instrument or device, and is not a substitute for the manufacturer's current Instructions for Use.

## §2Not clinical advice; no practitioner–patient relationship

The Service presents reference information and generic, rule-based aids. It does not give advice about any individual patient, and no practitioner–patient relationship arises from using it. All clinical decisions — diagnosis, instrument selection, treatment and referral — remain yours, and you remain responsible for them under your own professional obligations.

Motor settings, sequences, tapers and torques are reproduced from manufacturer documentation identified on each page. Manufacturers revise those documents. Verify against the current Instructions for Use for the instrument in your hand.

## §3Licence and permitted use

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Service for your own professional or educational use.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the Service's content; systematically download or scrape it; use it to build or train a competing dataset or model; or remove attribution and source references.

Reproducing short extracts with attribution for teaching or research is permitted and encouraged. Machine-readable copies of pages are offered for convenience — a Markdown version of each page, and llms.txt — and are covered by this same licence; offering them is not a waiver of it. The open NiTi dataset is separately licensed under CC BY 4.0 on the terms stated on its own page.

## §4Third-party rights, trademarks and images

Product names and trademarks belong to their respective manufacturers and are used for identification only. EndoGuide is an independent resource; no manufacturer sponsors, endorses or reviews it.

## §5Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for a defective product under applicable product-liability law, and any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

The Service supports your professional judgement; it does not replace it. You remain responsible for clinical decisions and for verifying values against current manufacturer documentation.

## §6Changes, termination, law and disputes

We may change these Terms. Material changes are published here with an updated date.

We may suspend or end access for breach of §3. You may stop using the Service at any time.

These Terms are governed by Turkish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Tüketici Hakem Heyeti or the Tüketici Mahkemesi with jurisdiction over their residence.
