Clinical Tip

Both run at 500 RPM. HyFlex CM is pre-bendable controlled-memory wire at a flat 2.5 Ncm, reusable with shape regeneration in the autoclave; Vortex Blue is single-use blue heat-treated wire with file-specific torque across a 15–50 .04/.06 matrix, and is not designed to be pre-bent. Choose HyFlex CM for pre-bent navigation and reuse, Vortex Blue for a sterile single-use crown-down matrix.

Key Features

HyFlex CM

Pre-bendable like stainless steel with enhanced cyclic fatigue resistance vs conventional NiTi (manufacturer reports up to 300%, in-house bench data)

Vortex Blue

Blue heat treatment provides min 65% better cyclic fatigue resistance vs M-Wire NiTi and at least 42% higher peak torque strength (manufacturer data)
