Clinical Tip

ProTaper Next finishes most canals with two M-Wire files (X1, X2) whose off-centred rectangular section produces a swaggering motion at 300 RPM, which reduces how much of the file engages the wall at once. EdgeFile X7 is a fourteen-file constant-taper .04/.06 crown-down matrix (17–45) in Fire-Wire wire at 300–500 RPM, pre-bendable because the heat treatment removes shape memory. Choose ProTaper Next for a two-file finish with reduced engagement, X7 when you want tip size and taper chosen per canal.
