EdgeFile X7 vs EdgeTaper Platinum
Same FireWire alloy and the same 300–500 RPM window, two different workflows. EdgeTaper Platinum follows a ProTaper-style SX–F5 sequence; EdgeFile X7 is a crown-down .04/.06 size matrix (17–45) that starts at 25/.04 and steps down only when needed — pick the geometry that matches the technique you already use.
EdgeGlidePath vs EdgeOne Fire
These are companions, not alternatives. EdgeGlidePath is a single rotary glide-path file (19/variable, FireWire, 300–500 RPM) used in clockwise rotation before shaping; EdgeOne Fire is the reciprocating shaping system whose Primary follows once a glide path to at least #15 exists. EdgeOne Fire also ships its own reciprocating GlidePath file, so choose EdgeGlidePath when you prefer the glide path in rotary mode.
