EdgeOne Fire™
FireWire heat treatment provides 2x cyclic fatigue resistance vs WaveOne Gold with WaveOne-compatible motor settings
Specifications

Clinical Tips
Start with PRIMARY file per DFU protocol — select Small/Medium/Large based on canal gauge if needed
Compatible with WaveOne motor and handpiece using the same settings
FireWire heat treatment provides approximately 2x cyclic fatigue resistance vs Gold-treated NiTi (Gambarini et al. 2019)
Reciprocating motion reduces cyclic fatigue significantly
Single-file system reduces cross-contamination risk
Files may appear slightly curved - this is not a defect; they follow canal anatomy once inside
Capable of navigating up to 90-degree curvatures
EdgeCore carrier-based obturation system available as matching accessory
Warnings
- Must use WaveOne-compatible reciprocating motor settings - never continuous rotation
- Single use only - cannot be resterilized or reused
- Contains nickel - do not use on patients with nickel allergy
- Do not use in canals with very severe or sudden apical curvatures
- Clean flutes frequently and check for signs of distortion or wear
- If a file does not easily progress, remove and inspect before re-inserting
Obturation Techniques
Single cone, warm vertical, carrier-based & lateral compaction
