One Shape®
Single-file continuous rotation with variable asymmetric cross-section (3 to 2 cutting edges) and ABC anti-breakage control
| File | Tip | Taper | Speed rpm | Torque Ncm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25/.06 | 0.25 | 6% | 350-450 | 2.5 |
One Shape uses 350-450 RPM with a maximum torque of 2.5 Ncm (per ENDObook). Any continuous-rotation endodontic motor may be used — no specific motor is needed.
The variable asymmetric cross-section (3 cutting edges apically, transitioning to 2 coronally) provides optimal cutting in three canal zones and reduces the screwing effect.
ABC (Anti Breakage Control): the instrument will unwind before separating, providing a safety margin.
Technique is progressive: advance to 2/3 WL first, then to WL minus 3 mm, then to full WL — withdrawing, cleaning, irrigating, and checking patency between each stage.
In tight or curved canals, use slightly longer in-and-out strokes for debris removal.
G-Files (G1 + G2) are the recommended mechanical glide path instruments when a #10 K-file cannot reach estimated working length.
Single-use instrument — recommended for treatment of one tooth only (per brochure).
