Not alternatives: EdgeGlidePath is a single rotary glide-path file, ProTaper Gold is the shaping sequence that follows. ProTaper Gold's IFU recommends a mechanical glide path after #10–#15 hand files (ProGlider or PathFile); EdgeGlidePath fills the same step with a FireWire file at 300–500 RPM and a 1 mm maximum flute diameter. Pairing them is a technique choice, not a substitution.
