Protocol
1
1. Access Opening
Open access cavity.
2
2. Canal Location
Locate canal with #10 K-file.
3
3. Negotiate Canal
Negotiate canal to working length up to #20 K-file.
4
4. Orifice Enlargement (if needed)
BO (#15/10%) for orifice enlargement.
5
5. Canal-Size Dependent File Selection
Narrow apex (#20 K-file engages): B1 (#20/4%) then B2 (#25/4%). Wide apex (#20 K-file loose): B2 (#25/4%) then B3 (#25/6%). Very wide apex (palatal/distal): B2 (#25/4%) then B4 (#30/4%). Anteriors (maxillary): B4 (#30/4%) then B5 (#40/4%). All at 300 RPM, 2 Ncm.
6
6. Irrigation
NaOCl after each file, EDTA final rinse.
Clinical Tips
- •6-file system (5 core + BO orifice enlarger)
- •4% and 6% taper combination (BO: 10%)
- •17mm short length
- •300 RPM per manufacturer
- •Canal-size-dependent file selection, not sequential
Warnings
- ⚠Watch for physiologic root resorption
- ⚠Do not apply excessive pressure
Clinical Notes
- →6-file system (BO orifice enlarger + B1-B5). Canal-size-dependent protocol, not sequential.
- →CM-Wire (martensitic phase, Af >37C) provides high flexibility
- →Thin design preserves dentin walls
- →Color coding: B1=Yellow, B2/B3=Red, B4=Blue, B5=Black
- →B2 and B3 share #25 tip — B2 (4%) for shaping, B3 (6%) for wider preparation
- →Marketed by Kids-e-Dental (Mumbai), manufactured by Dentobizz
