Two heat-treatment lines with identical geometry and settings: U+ (MaxTech 3.0, gold-type — positioned by the manufacturer for conventional curvature up to ~15°) and U-Blue (MaxTech 6.0, blue-type — described as moderately flexible and pre-curvable, for curvature up to ~30°)
NIC's own cross-reference table positions U-Series as its alternative for ProTaper Gold / ProTaper Universal users; the finishing-file sizing (20/.07 → 50/.05) mirrors that sequence — a manufacturer-claimed correspondence, not independently verified
SX is a 19 mm orifice shaper; S1–F5 use a 13 mm short shank in 21/25/31 mm lengths

Warnings

- Inspect files before each use and discard any instrument showing unwinding, distortion, or dull flutes (general NiTi practice)
- Contains nickel — generally avoided in patients with known nickel allergy (general NiTi precaution)
- Maintain a confirmed glide path and avoid apical pressure; multi-file rotary sequences are generally used with caution in severe or abrupt apical curvature
