Motor programming per the IFU: use a WaveOne Gold-compatible reciprocating program, or enter 150° counter-clockwise / 30° clockwise where custom angles are required; speed and torque are defined by the program
The technique is Primary-first: the 25/.07 red file starts every case, the Small 20/.07 is the fallback for canals it cannot enter, and the Medium 35/.06 / Large 45/.05 serve wider canals (IFU)
Completion is judged at the apical flutes — dentinal debris loading after reaching length signals the shape is complete (IFU)
The W+ Tunnel 15/.02 is the system's own reciprocating glide path file; NIC's cross-reference table maps it to reciprocating glide path files and W+ itself to WaveOne Gold — manufacturer-claimed correspondences, not independently verified
MaxTech 3.0 gold heat treatment: the manufacturer describes improved flexibility over standard NiTi with a gold surface appearance, positioned for conventional curvature (~15°)
All five files — the four shapers and the W+ Tunnel — use a parallelogram cross-section per the manufacturer's fact sheet (2026-08-12); the construction pages describe 13 mm short shanks, ISO color coding, and a 1.2 mm maximum flute diameter for the line
Due to heat treatment the file may appear slightly curved out of the package — the manufacturer states this is not a defect and no straightening is needed (IFU)
