XP-endo® Finisher
Zero-taper sickle-shaped cleaning instrument that expands at body temperature to contact canal walls that standard instruments cannot reach

XP-endo Finisher operates at 800-1000 RPM with 1.0 Ncm torque (per IFU). Use after any shaping system, not just XP-endo Shaper.
MaxWire alloy expands at body temperature: the sickle shape reaches up to 6 mm in diameter, approximately 100-fold the reach of a standard instrument of the same size (per brochure).
Micro-CT studies show standard NiTi files contact only 45-55% of canal walls; the Finisher's expansion addresses the remaining untouched areas (per brochure).
Effective in irregular canals, oval canals, C-shaped canals, isthmuses, and furcation canals (per brochure).
XP-endo Finisher R (retreatment variant) is designed for removal of root filling material remnants from canal irregularities.
Single-use instrument; maximum 4 canals per file (per IFU). Do not reuse.
After cleaning, dry the canals and seal using gutta percha and sealer. A bioceramic sealer such as TotalFill is preferred (per IFU).
